At Parker, our mission is simple: make parking stress-free for drivers and rewarding for space owners. Whether you’re looking for a place to park or thinking about listing your driveway, we’ve got you covered. Here are answers to some of the most common questions we hear from our community.

Getting Started with Parker
Where can I use Parker? Parker is growing quickly! While much of our activity is centered in Toronto, spots are already available across North America — and new ones are added every day.
Is there a desktop version? Yes, Parker works entirely through a web-based system so it can be used on any desktop or any phone with internet access.
Parking with Parker
How do I book a spot? Currently, Parker operates in real time — much like a metered spot. Open the app, find the spot on the map, and confirm it’s available before you park. Once you’re in the space, simply hit Confirm & Pay in the app.
Can I book in advance? Yes, you can book in advance to secure your spot.
What if I need more time?No problem. Use the Extend Parking option in the app to add time without running back to your car.
Is there a minimum booking time? Yes — you can book for as little as 15 minutes.
Could my car get towed?As with all private property, overstaying your paid time does carry some risk. To avoid issues, always extend your session if you need extra time.
Hosting a Spot
What makes a good Parker Spot Host? Clear communication. A detailed description and a photo of your space help drivers park confidently. For example: “Please park on the right side of the driveway if facing the house. Do not block the garage.” We can also provide signage to reassure drivers they’re in the right spot.
What if someone overstays? First, allow a short grace period. If the car is still there, contact support through the app or email us at support@parker.com
Safety, Security & Payments
Why do you need my personal details? To transfer funds securely, we require basic identity information for anti-fraud and security purposes. Payments are processed by Stripe, the world’s leading mobile payment provider.
Do you store my financial details? No. Parker never stores credit card or banking information. All payment processing and data storage is handled securely by Stripe.
Growing the Parker Community
Because Parker is a shared marketplace, the more people who list their spaces, the better it becomes for everyone. If you don’t see many spots in your area yet, don’t worry — new ones are added every day. Share Parker with your friends and neighbours to help grow the network in your city.
